With more than 80 years of experience in the entire natural gas supply chain, the Group has expanded its horizons towards the development of technologies and solutions for a sustainable digital world and has particularly focused on renewable energy projects.
The company is an active player in market changes, including digitalisation, the transition to cleaner energy sources and greater responsibility with regard to environmental, social and economic sustainability.
In 2022, the Pietro Fiorentini Group achieved consolidated revenues around € 500 million, an increase of 8% compared to 2021. The Group has a consolidated customer base of natural gas transmission and distribution companies, oil and gas companies, engineering companies, EPCs, industrial end-users and utilities.
THE STORY: FROM ITALIAN FAMILY BUSINESS TO MULTINATIONAL COMPANY
Pietro Fiorentini SpA was established in Italy in 1940. Today, in addition to its headquarters in Arcugnano (Vicenza), the Pietro Fiorentini Group has 40 commercial and production sites, both in Italy and abroad, and employs around 2,800 people worldwide, with a distribution network covering more than 100 countries on all continents.
Production focuses on a wide variety of advanced technology solutions for the entire natural gas supply chain: from the components and services involved in distribution and transmission networks to a range of engineered solutions including valves, multiphase flow meters, processing plants, regulation and metering stations (ERMs).
Over the past decade, the company has invested heavily in R&D, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and in its factories and production systems. As a result, it now holds a leading position in smart metering, as well as in smart grids in general, and can offer end-to-end solutions. State-of-the-art solutions thanks to the combination of mechanical and electronic know-how with software solutions provided by its subsidiary, Terranova.
More recently, in the field of energy transition, the Group has been accelerating its efforts to seize new opportunities related to green energy sources, such as biomethane, hydrogen and Power-to-gas. The Group is also expanding its horizons into water metering, digitalisation of the water cycle and the environmental sector.

Pietro Fiorentini has a large number of locations between Italy and abroad that include production sites, sales offices and service centers, with a distribution network that reaches more than 100 countries on all continents.
We work by integrating the principles of Lean Management, which has earned us the nickname of the Toyota of Italy over more than 20 years of rigorous application through our Agile Team network. These principles are dedicated to developing multi-purpose projects of the utmost importance, with a fast and flexible rationale, built on the model of modern start-ups.
